SONG Jinkyung is an emerging filmmaker from South Korea, with a Master’s degree in Filmmaking from the London Film Academy. She began her career writing and directing the 16mm short film Small Talks (2023), followed by the short films Silent Night (2024), Moth (2024), and Long Story Short (2024) as a producer. Most recently, she wrote and directed Evergreen (2024). In addition to directing, she has worked on about ten short film projects in London. Her short films were selected and awarded at various international film festivals, including the Rome Indie Film Festival, Bangkok Movie Awards, Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival, and some more. After completing her master’s program, she returned to Korea and joined the production team for Intermission (2025), directed by Kit Zauhar, and worked in the directing department for The Living (WT, 2025), directed by Choi Jin-young. Currently, she is preparing A Secret Diary, a short film supported by the 2025 Jeonju International Film Festival, and is in post-production for Forever Young, a short documentary funded by the 2025 Ulsan-Ulju Mountain Film Festival. She continues to develop projects that explore themes of love, relationships, and womanhood, while also preparing for international co-productions.
송진경은 전주 출신으로, 영국 런던 필름 아카데미에서 필름메이킹 석사 과정을 수료하였다. 16mm 단편 영화 Small Talks (2023)의 각본과 연출을 시작으로, 단편 Silent Night (2024), Moth (2024), Long Story Short (2024)를 제작하였으며, 최근에는 Evergreen (2024)의 각본과 연출을 마쳤다. 런던에서 약 10편의 단편 영화 작업에 참여하였고, Rome Indie Film Festival, Bangkok Movie Awards, Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival 등 다양한 국제 영화제에서 상영 및 수상하였다. 현재는 2025 전주국제영화제의 제작 지원작 단편영화 를 준비 중이며, 2025 울산울주세계산악영화제의 제작 지원작인 단편 다큐멘터리 의 후반 작업을 진행하고 있다. 이외에도 사랑, 관계, 여성에 초점을 둔 프로젝트를 지속적으로 기획 중이며, 해외 공동제작 또한 목표로 준비 중이다.
